Water
Beef -500 g to 600 g (after cleaning)
Big Onion -2 ( medium )
Small onion -10 nos
Ginger garlic paste -2 tbsp
Green chilli -2
Curry leaves -1 speig
Tomato -1/4 cup chopped
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder -3 tsp
Garam masala powder -1 tsp
Black pepper powder -1/2 tsp
Fennel powder -1/4 tsp
Coriander powder -1 tsp
Coconut oil -3 tbsp
How to make
- Peel the tapioca and cut it into medium cubes
- In a pot add water , once boiled add the cubed tapioca.Once half done drain the water and add boiling water , 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and required salt to the tapioca .Cook until it's soft
- Drain it and mash with a help of spoon or masher .Set aside
- In a pressure cooker add the beef , turmeric powder, salt , shallots ,1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- Cook until it's tender . Pressure cook for 5 to 6 whistles
- Heat coconut oil in a large pan
- Add the curry leaves and green chilli
- Add sliced onion , saute it for 5 min and add the remaining ginger garlic paste.Cook till the raw smell goes
- Add the tomatoes and cook until it's soft
- Now add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri chilli powder, black pepper powder,fennel powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder
- Cook for 3 min at low heat
- Add the cooked meat to the masala mix and cook
- Add the mashed tapioca to the beef mixture ,mix it gently
- Check for salt and cook it at low flame for 5 min
- Add fresh curry leaves and drizzle some coconut oil for the final touch
