Adai dosa/Multi dal dosa/protein rich mixed dal dosa recipe


Soaking time :3 to 4 hours

Ingredients
Idli rice- 1/2 cup
Raw rice -1/4 cup
Toor dhal- 1/4 cup
Channa dal -1/4 cup
Moong dal-1/4 cup
Urad dal-1/4 cup
Ginger- 1/4inch
Dried red chilli - 3 to 5
Fennel seeds -1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Shallots - 1/4 cup (sliced)
Salt
Curry leaves
Oil


How to make
  1. Wash and soak the rice and dals together for 3 to 4 hours
  2. After 4 hours drain the water , grind the rice ,dals , red chillies , ginger , fennel seeds to a coarse mixture. Let it be there for 1 hr
  3. To the coarse batter add hing , salt , sliced shallots and curry leaves . Mix well
  4. Heat a dosa tawa , drizzle some oil and pour a ladle of batter
  5. Spread slightly thick and cook on medium flame . Drizzle oil if required 
  6. Flip and  cook till it is cooked on both sides.Serve hot with coconut chutney , aviyal

Notes
  • Dont ferment like dosa batter
  • After adding shallots , make dosa immediately 

 Try out
