Ingredients
Onion -2
Chickpea flour - 1/2 Cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Hing- 1/2 tsp
Fennel powder - 1/2 tsp
chilli powder - 2 tsp
curry leaves - 1 sprig (finely chopped)
coriander leaves few chopped
Salt
Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped )
Oil to fry
How to make
- Thinly slice the onions and add it in a bowl
- To the onions add chickpea flour ,rice flour , hing , fennel powder , chilli powder , salt , green chilli , curry leaves and coriander leaves
- Mix everything well using your hands, the water from the onion releases
- Sprinkle little water if required. The batter should be thick and not flowing nature . It will be slightly sticky
- Heat oil in a pan and keep it on medium flame
- Once oil gets heated up , drop small portions directly into the hot oil
- Fry till it is golden brown .Once the sizzling sound ends, remove from the hot oil and drain on tissue paper.Serve hot
