Onion Pakoda / ulli bajii


Ingredients
Onion -2
Chickpea flour - 1/2 Cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Hing- 1/2 tsp
Fennel powder - 1/2 tsp
chilli powder - 2 tsp
curry leaves -  1 sprig (finely chopped)
coriander leaves few chopped
Salt
Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped )
Oil to fry

How to make 
  1. Thinly slice the onions and add it in a bowl
  2. To the onions add chickpea flour ,rice flour , hing , fennel powder , chilli powder , salt , green chilli , curry leaves and coriander leaves
  3. Mix everything well using your hands, the water from the onion releases
  4. Sprinkle little water if required. The batter should be thick and not flowing nature . It will be slightly sticky
  5. Heat oil in a pan and keep it on medium flame
  6. Once oil gets heated up , drop small portions directly into the hot oil
  7. Fry till it is golden brown .Once the sizzling sound ends, remove from the hot oil and drain on tissue paper.Serve hot
